Threadless X-Ray . . .
This one has been announced and it has tickled me in the ribs since I first saw it.
Here's hoping they have a sale before Christmas.
How Many Is Too Many? . . .
Threadless have
printed The Communist Party
as a hoody . . . There are still plenty in
stock . . . Hopefully there will still be plenty
in stock when I have money in my account. I need a
new red hoody I think.
It is about time Threadless took Paypal. How rude is
that?
YAY! IT'S HERE!
The Afternoon Delight
Hoody is finally here. It isn't this light
blue colour - it is navy blue which is a much
better colour for a hoody. Makes the while motif
stand out much better too!
I can not wait to wear it - it is going on me
tomorrow and not coming off for . . . well . . .
maybe until bed time!
Three From Threadless . . .
The latest three tee shirts came from Threadless
today. Paperboy, Reasons Not To Go Camping and Party
Pieces. The good news is that they arrived in a
different kind of packaging. I emailed Threadless a
while back to let them know that 3 out of the last 5
packages from them had arrived damaged and opened
(although there was no damage to the shirts). They
replied saying that they were about to change the
packaging and it seems this is in place now. The new
heavy duty bag is much better than the cardboard
envelope they used previously.
The bad news is that there was only one parcel. I am
awaiting the new hoody still and the last time I
checked my email I had received 23 emails from
Threadless telling me that the hoody parcel had been
sent to me. Twenty Three Afternoon Delight Hoodies? I
think that might make me smile a little. Let's hope
that some of them don't have Customs on them!
Laugh
Poor Threadless must have had a wee email gremlin!
Hmmmm - that might be a thought for a submission!
Spring Broke Sale at Threadless . . .
Threadless is Evil. Spring "Broke" is about right.
It just isn't fair. Just when I become settled, knowing I have enough t shirts and knowing that a divorce might be arranged should another parcel arrive then they go and unsettle it all again. Just for fun I rattled through the Stock Chart and added all the items I want this time round. There is a total of $135 worth there and that is only because one sold out while I was hesitating. One of the things in the cart is the Afternoon Delight Hoody - don't worry - there are plenty in stock! I have $30 in Street Team Points - but that isn't going to go far enough. It is possible that I might not get all I want this time.
Oh well. . . .
They've Gone And Done It! And Sooner Than Predicted!
YAY!
In Navy Blue too - not in white for a change! How brilliant is that? *does dance*
They have a sale on again too.
I kinda fancy one of the new designs too as a hoody. You think that would be a good one for me?
I do love the idea that they are doing hoodies now - there are only so many t shirts you can go wear in a year.
Ya think?
Threadless. . .
We bought a set of plastic shelves the other day for a tenner and I assembled it tonight. The idea is that it will slip in to a small gap at the side of the wardrobe and hopefully we will be able to put some sort of wheels on it to slide the unit in and out. The theory is good - don't really know if it will work or not. The shelves are really light any way so if the wheels don't work - or if they are too dear - then it doesn't really matter.
I folded all the t shirts and colour coordinated them.
I counted them. There were 46 of them.
I took loads of photos of them then remembered there were a couple in the wash - I found four more. Somewhere at the back of my mind I knew there was one shirt that had gone a-missing and although I had searched my chest of drawers for it several times it had never resurfaced so I had one more rummage for it and HEY! FOUND IT! So I added that in too. .
And took more photos of the shirts. I put them on the computer and then realised D'OH - I was still wearing one!
I shall have to take more photos in a couple of days because there is another parcel on it's way to me soon with three more t shirts in it but this is them so far. Extra points for those of you who work out which one I was wearing today!
This means I have well over 50 t shirts now - They had a sale before Christmas and I went a little mad buying loads of ones I liked because they were so cheap - this may be it for a while now. . . . .
155 T Shirts and Not One Threadless!!!
I have watched it a couple of times and haven't spotted a Threadless shirt - please feel free to prove me wrong! Watch as the shirts with the motifs fade away as the shirts get bigger and bigger (up to 10XL). I think this shows that fat people don't get much choice in design for their t shirts!
Anyway - there's a Guiness World Record for the Most Amount of T Shirts Worn At One Time. Don't tell me I don't bring you new and exciting and cultural things. . .
New Threadless Arrive . . .
I have rearranged my Threadless page. No one followed my daily changes so I gave up on that some time ago. The order they were left in then didn't make a lot of sense so now they are roughly in some kind of colour range. . . roughly.
I think it is pretty - even if I WAS called a Geek for doing it.
Last night was a bit of a disaster for us. The house alarm went off about 20 minutes after I finally got to sleep and although Iain went to deal with it, it took me about another hour to get back to sleep. Then about 7am Iain got an alarm call for the shop and had to get up and drive in to work to find that (thankfully) we hadn't been robbed but the bread delivery of two crates worth for the shop next door had been banged against our windows, setting off our alarm. Again (never mind poor Iain) that meant I didn't get back to sleep. Normally that wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary but throw in the worst cold I have had in years and snot pouring out of me (the only way I got any relief was to sit upright) and being wiped away with the most horrible toilet roll we have ever bought, by the time 9am came I was a wreck!
If I had had the phone number at home, of the girl who was coming in with her children today, I would have called her to cancel. As it was I found myself photographing two of her children who performed beautifully for an hour while the mum coerced the 4 year old to come and just have one photo taken. After the hour was up and all my usual tricks had not succeeded we more or less gave up, let the kids have their picnic and a wee break. The next thing we knew the 4 year old was posing away and we had to start all over again, taking all the shots again - with her in it this time! Little Skitter (her Mum's name for her - not mine!)
I am glad I persevered - it would have been easy to have just given up and rearranged for another day but this way we got some good photos and I got my sitting fee!
Being "in the money" I bought some nice, soft balsam-y tissues for my poor red nose. Am half way through the first box already.
Am staying at home tomorrow! Sniff.
THREADLESS $10 SALE!
Threadless . . .
More t shirts!
Recently a site that I have had on my RSS for a while ran the kind of competition that I like. None of that having to guess things, or god forbid, having to actually know things, this competition was "be the first to respond and I will give you a load of dosh in the form of vouchers for Threadless."
I can tell you that my heart was thumping and my hands shaking when I saw the RSS come in. How many people would have the site listed and how many would be at their computer right at the moment it came in - I might be in with a chance here. . .
I fumbled a bit and I am quite sure that I was Entry Number 1 AND 2 as I forgot to tell them my Threadless ID the first time. When I checked their site out there were two entries there but only mine was showing. I now reckon the other one was mine too though. It took a wee minute or two for Chris, the site owner to contact me but I WON! YAY!
I got $25 and the voucher is sitting in my inbox already. Somehow that equated to me telling Iain that I got "three t shirts worth" rather than $25 - but - hey - anyone out there who buys Threadless will know what I mean!
I may not be making much money at work at the moment but at least I will be able to put clothes on my back huh?
As to my choice the next time I order . . . well "Macgyver" is, at long last back in stock. I got an email about that a while back and excitedly went to press a few buttons to order but then realised that there is no hurry - may as well wait for a $10 sale. I just checked and there are plenty in stock still.
I got Ctrl + Z which had been on my list and I even got Rainbow Worrier which was mega dear. There are always a few new releases that I would love to get but they just pick the stupidest colours at times. Like We're On The Same Level for example, I love that - but there is no way I would wear that colour. (And no, Banana is not the same colour as Gold - which I would wear.)
I wish they had a "I would have bought this had it not been in this colour" button. I would push that button from time to time.
There ARE a couple now that I might consider getting second copies of. I know that sounds weird - but I love Afternoon Delight and am going to be devastated when it falls to pieces - I think I ought to have a back-up just in case. . .
T Shirts . . .
I need to start packing for the holidays. We are leaving on Monday for two weeks in France. It is about four or five years since we had a holiday other than The Folk's Caravan so a break will be nice.
We have a front room full of clothes ready to pack and other than what is still to be washed the only one not packed is me.
I am trying to decide which of my Threadless t shirts to take with me. . . anyone want to help me out here?
